It highlights ways to successfully navigate the ups and downs of the classroom. Although I share my experiences of nearly two decades working in secondary education, this book provides valuable information for teachers of all grade levels. It’s particularly helpful for new educators but may also refresh veterans’ love for the job as well. It provides advice and suggestions on topics including setting up one’s classroom, making a great first impression, exhibiting the qualities of an effective teacher, and balancing the myriad roles and responsibilities educators possess. The longest section of the book, however, concentrates on building and maintaining relationships. After all, people are at the core of teaching.
50 Things to Know About Being Childfree by Choice - A Guide for Understanding and Acceptance is my second book - published by CZYK Publishing and available on Amazon. It is meant to be a resource for other women like me that have chosen not to have children. My goal is to show them they are not alone, though it may sometimes feel that way. I also hope that it shows people that do choose to become parents why that role is not meant for everyone. May it generate some conversation about a topic that has been considered taboo for too long. We each have the right to live our lives in a way that makes us happy, and by sharing our stories, it sets the stage for better understanding and accepting life choices that may differ from our own.
